Our staff and their story

The First Central Group started trading in October 2008 through First Central Insurance Services. In its first year, the group sold over 100,000 car insurance policies, and now has over 250,000 customers.
First Central Insurance Management Limited provides administrative services such as Customer Service and Claims Management on behalf of First Central Insurance Services Limited and has experienced rapid growth since its launch. It has grown from an organisation of just 62 people when 1st Central began trading and now employs over 300 staff. We have recently taken up additional premises in the area and continue to provide many new employment opportunities in the local community.

Our aim at 1st Central is to sell profitable general insurance products and successfully meet the needs of policy holders, shareholders and employees.

I joined 1st Central in May 2008 and have watched the business grow from strength to strength. Here we are about ‘1st’ for fun and a friendly environment, with a positive influence for ongoing improvement being ‘Central’ to the customer, the business and the employee.

1st Central is a rapidly expanding Company with ambitious business goals which means that there are plenty of opportunities to develop your skills. I started in the Customer Service call centre where I gained lots of experience, and have since moved to a new role in Customer Relations.
